What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

First edition, first impression.

The second and third instalments of Brian Aldiss' 'Helliconia Trilogy'.

With the publisher's original dust wrappers, 'Summer' being clipped and 'Winter' being unclipped.

Set on the Earth-like planet Helliconia, these monumental science fiction novels chronicle the rise and fall of a civilisation over thousands of years as the planet progresses through its incredibly long seasons, which last for centuries.

The series lacks a central protagonist, instead sharing time across a cast of characters, such as the royal household of Borlien in Helliconia Summer and Luterin Shokerandit, son of the Keeper of the Wheel of Kharnabar, in Helliconia Winter

From English writer, artist and anthology editor, Brian Aldiss.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. With the original dust wrappers, 'Summer' being clipped and 'Winter' being unclipped. Externally, excellent, with minor bumping to the spines. Dust wrappers are very smart, with mild shelf wear. Tide marks to 'Winter' inner tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
