With the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper. 

Containing essays on King Lear, Macbeth, Othello and Hamlet, with discussions on the philosophies of the plays and references made to other Shakespearean scholars. 

From the eldest of the three literary Sitwells, Edith Sitwell, a poet and critic. She received the Benson Medal of the Royal Society of Literature. 

Condition

In the original cloth binding. With the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart, with minor bumping to the extremities. Damp stains to the rear board. Dust wrapper is very smart, with minor edge wear and handling marks to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with a few spots to the endpapers only.
