The work examines Irish cultural identity and Davis's legacy.

With the bookplate of Milton McC. Gatch to the verso of the front wrap. He was an American theologian, librarian and scholar of Anglo-Saxon and medieval Christian literature who served as a professor, Dean and Provost at Union Theological Seminary in New York.

Condition

In the publisher's original paper wraps. Wraps age toned to perimeters, with small closed tear to head of front wrap. Bookplate to verso of front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
