An incredibly scarce collection of annual essay titles hosted by the University of Oxford - a tradition named for 18th Century astronomer Edmond Halley.

Essays 1 and 5 feature unlisted monochrome frontispieces, and an additional unlisted monochrome plate, as well as vignette diagrams and graphs.
No other collation record available.

This copy also includes an additional, hand-drawn pencil graph labelled 'fig. 3 reconstructed from "The Analysis of Stellar Structure"', tipped in before 'The Composition of the Stars'.

Condition

Bound in original half cloth. Externally, in lovely condition. Very slight shelf wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, with very infrequent handling marks. Spotting to text block top edge.
