One of the first twenty-five copies of 'White Ladies', specially bound for presentation by the author. 

With the author's signed presentation inscription to the front endpaper, and an additional signature to the title page. 

Bound in the original half crushed morocco.

This novel from British writer, Francis Brett Young, follows one family's determination to recover the family estate, an Elizabethan manor house named White Ladies. 

The work contains some of Young's most vivid depictions of Worcestershire, a region in which many of his Mercian novels are set.

Condition

In the original half crushed morocco, with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart, with slight fading to the spine and minor shelf wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with the author's ink inscriptions to the front endpaper and title page.
