First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce, With Dustwrapper

The first edition of this very scarce work, in the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper.

Illustrated with a frontispiece.

A collection of short autobiographical sketches and travel writings by the English poet and author Wilfred Rowland Childe.

Childe is chiefly remembered for 'Dream English: A Fantastical Romance' (1917) which had a minor cult following. He was admired by Arthur Machen and later by the poet Robin Skelton.

Condition

In the publisher's original paper covered boards, with unclipped dust wrapper. Small closed tear to back strip head, with back strip age toned and area of age toning to front board tail. Dust wrapper back strip age toned, with tide mark to back strip and tail of front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
