A highly informative and extensive work that contains numerous pharmaceutical products, including key information such as solubility, chemical information, actions and uses, as well as preparation of the substances. A number of changes have been brought to the third edition, including updates to nomenclature for modern readers.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, mostly smart, with the occasional rubbing mark, heavier to joints and to the extremities, and the occasional patch of fading. Slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and to the extremities. End papers are generally bright and clean, with the odd spot and smudge mark. Previous owner's ink inscription to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound, with slight wear to hinge between leaves pp.32-33 and pp.64-65. The occasional crease to leaves, heaviest to p.x. Pages are generally bright and clean, with minor age toning and the odd spot to leaf extremities, heavier to leaves pp.798-799.
