A collection of letters documenting the travels through America of prominent English poet, Rupert Brooke. Best remembered for his war poetry such as "The Soldier" and "The Dead", Brooke was a friend amongst the Bloomsbury group as well as an important member of literary groups, the Georgian Poets and the Dymock poets. Brooke tragically died during the First World War at just 27 years old.

Condition

In publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart with slight bumping and rubbing and faint marking to both boards. Internally, firmly bound. Bright and clean copy with the exception of more noticeable spotting to the first and last few pages and most prominently to page 180.
