What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

First UK edition.

Very scarce, with no previous records in auction. Jisc records five copies.

Published in the US by Moffat, Yard and Company under the title 'The Seer' (1912), which is also very scarce.

In the original cloth binding.

A tale of fervent worship and destiny surrounding an all-knowing Prophet, a great revivalist Professor Constant Gath and the book's narrator and follower, Leslie.

A superior copy for its condition and rarity.

From Perley Poore Sheehan, an American writer who specialised in sensational romances and detective fiction. He contributed detective and adventure stories to the pulp magazines of the 1920s

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, lovely, with light bumping to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting to the endpapers and scattered spotting to the fore edge and largely to the first and last leaves.
