    This novel was written by Grant Richards, a British publisher and writer who is best known for launching 'The World's Classics' series. This is Richards' first novel and follows a Englishman who falls in love with an American heiress and is aided by a financial adviser to grow his fortunes in order to win her over. 

    In the publisher's original cloth, lacking the very scarce original dust wrapper.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth. Lacking the very scarce dust wrapper. Externally excellent with only sunning to the spine and extremities of the front board. Light spotting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with clean and generally bright pages.
