Condition
In the publisher's original red cloth binding with gilt. Externally, very smart. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. Fading to spine and boards, more apparent to rear board. One or two minor spots of damp staining to rear board. Previous owner's ink inscription to front free endpaper. Upper corner of half title removed, likely to remove previous owner's inscription. Hinge at title page strained with binding materials partially exposed but firm. Internally, firmly bound. pages bright and clean with one or two spots and handling marks to first and last few leaves and fore edge.
