An incredibly scarce children's illustrated title.
In original blue pictorial boards, with a gilt motif to the front board, and gilt lettering to the spine, and fully gilt page edges.
Features a prize giving label to the front paste down, from Hadley Boys' Board School.
Condition
Bound in original blue cloth. Externally, a little worn. Shelf wear. Mild rubbing to extremities. Bumping to spine tips, head and tail. Rear hinge slightly starting but firm. Prize bookplate to front paste down. Internally, generally firmly bound, with occasional strain. Pages generally bright and clean, with the occasional spot.
