The first editions of three volumes of this literary magazine, edited by Mrs. Henry Wood.

Present here are:

Volume XIX, January to June 1875. Illustrated with a frontispiece and five plates.

Volume XXI, January to June 1876. Illustrated with a frontispiece and five plates.

Volume XXVIII, July to December 1879. Illustrated with a frontispiece and six plates.

Collated, complete.

With contributions from Alice King, M. E. Penn, Anna Beale, Emma Rhodes, and many more.

Condition

In half calf bindings, with marbled paper covered boards. Rubbing to centre of boards, otherwise externally excellent. Hinges of the two latest volumes strained, but firmly held. Internally, generally firmly bound, with one plate each of volumes XIX and XXVIII detached but present. Pages bright, with handling marks throughout. Inscription to title page head of XXI.
