    A series of letters describing the British stage at the beginning of the nineteenth-century. Robson's criticisms are scholarly and his recollections received praise for always being interesting. 

    Contains a prior owner's bookplate to the front paste down.

    With a contemporary ink inscription to the title page. 

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, very smart with minor bumping to spine head and tail. Minor shelf wear to the extremities. The odd mark to the boards.. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. With a prior owner's bookplate to the front paste down. With a contemporary ink inscription to the title page.
