The poem, divided into six untitled books, explores Epicurean physics through poetic language and metaphors.

The first edition of this work to be published by Richard Taylor, an English naturalist and publisher of scientific journals.

Rebacked, retaining original endpapers.

Condition

Rebacked, in a full calf binding with back strip laid down, retaining original boards. Back strip significantly age toned, otherwise excellent. Retaining original endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright, with instances of spotting to perimeters.
